By installing or using Text Insights Counter ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please uninstall the Extension.

Text Insights Counter is a free Chrome extension that provides:

• Real-time text analysis (characters, words, sentences, paragraphs, whitespace)
• Right-click context menu for analyzing selected text
• PRO features including reading time, readability scores, word frequency, HTML detection, analysis history, and filtering
• Multiple theme options (light, dark, system)
• One-click copy for all statistics

Text Insights Counter is completely free to use, including all PRO features. No payment, subscription, or account registration is required. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, but existing free features will remain free.

You agree to:

• Use the Extension only for its intended purpose
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the Extension
• Not use the Extension to violate any applicable laws
• Not redistribute the Extension outside of the Chrome Web Store

The Extension processes all text locally on your device. No data is collected, transmitted, or stored on external servers. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

The Extension, including its design, code, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

You may NOT use Text Insights Counter to:

• Attempt to extract, scrape, or harvest data from websites in violation of their terms
• Interfere with or disrupt the Extension's functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

The Extension is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that text analysis results will be 100% accurate in all cases.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Extension. Since the Extension is provided free of charge, our total liability shall not exceed $0.

• You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it
• We may discontinue or modify the Extension at any time without prior notice
• We may remove the Extension from the Chrome Web Store at our discretion

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
